BVFD Receives New Safety Equipment

Date: Monday, March 25th, 2019

We are so grateful to our community and donors that support the Bracken Volunteer Fire Department.
The community support and donations allowed us to raise over $4,500 which has gone towards the purchase of new safety equipment.
The safety of our team is always our top priority and the purchase of the new equipment will better protect our personnel while out in the field.

Now hiring part-time firefighters

Job title: Firefighter/EMT
Starting pay: $14/hour
Schedule: 12/24 hour shifts

Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Valid Class B Exempt Texas Driver’s License
TCFP Basic Structural Firefighter certification
TSDHS Emergency Medical Technician – Basic certification
